Busch and Kahne Party With Detroit Dodge Boys Racing Fans

The week leading up to the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Michigan International Speedway was an exciting one in the Detroit area as Dodge Boys Racing team drivers Kurt Busch and Kasey Kahne made public appearances to the delight of thousands of racing fans. Kurt Busch visited the Walter P. Chrysler Museum on the grounds of the Chrysler World Headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan, where a DBR rally and classic car show were being held. Amid the ‘Cudas and Challengers of the 1960s (along with the brand new 2008 Dodge Challenger), Busch greeted fans and spent the evening talking racing and signing autographs.
Meanwhile, about 15 miles away, Kasey Kahne was making an appearance at Galeana’s Van Dyke Dodge in Warren, Michigan. Those DBR fans that couldn’t make it out to the Chrysler museum event were happy to gather around the dealership showroom with their cameras in hand to get some shots of Kahne—one of the most popular young NASCAR racers around. Kahne also signed hundreds of autographs. Fortunately, holding a pen for so long didn’t affect his steering grip as Kahne went on to post a second place finish at MIS the following Sunday.
