In 2007, Bobby Labonte’s consistency each week enabled him to finish in the Top 20 in the NASCAR Cup series. This year, driving the famed #43 Dodge Charger of Petty Enterprises, he’ll be aiming to break through to the Top Ten and a spot in The Chase and a possible repeat of his NASCAR title that he won in 2000.

When Labonte joined Petty in 2005, he immediately drove the #43 into contention, posting four Top 5 finishes and seven Top Tens. During his championship run in 2000, Labonte had four wins and 24 Top Ten finishes. Labonte’s NASCAR career really took off in 2005 when he joined Joe Gibbs Racing and took his first Cup win that season at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, then swept both races at MIS.
